Update April 30, 2026: I got my refund! Thank you for the tips and suggestions!

So, an item's design was not as described, and had flaws not shown (from being poorly generated AI slop). The style was not what I selected either. Unfortunately I did not recognize the images as AI slop.. 116 dollars down the drain.

Etsy is largely siding with the seller, expecting me to either accept a replacement (lol no) or pay 50 dollars shipping (out of my pocket), as the seller refuses to pay shipping and honestly I don't even trust the seller to refund me as they have already proven themselves to be a scammer. Should I just do a chargeback at this point? I never want to utilize Etsy again after this experience, so I am wholly unconcerned with getting banned for a chargeback.
