Hey, so towards the end of last winter I noticed the heating during drive didn't work very well anymore (preheating works fine). Finally had time to get it checked and the diagnostics showerd that the water heater doesn't work properly, and apparently it needs to be changed. This turns out to cost 2300€. I'm just very sceptical, mostly because I'm in denial of having to do such an expensive repair, but I can't seem to find anything about this online. This is an official Opel repair shop too, so I doubt I'm being bamboozled but still it seems weird. I checked with a few other official shops and they seem to agree, and I managed to get clarification that it's the PTC element (translating from Finnish so I might have gotten that wrong). Thing is, I can't find any details or price information on this part anywhere. Like I said, I like to think I can trust a verified repair shop, but I keep having this weird gut feeling.

So I'm mostly wondering if anyone else has had the same problem with their Corsa-e? I know I have the whole summer to mull this over since the only thing affected is the heating, so it's more of a comfort thing than an actual problem.
