first draft for Experimental rap concept album
I’m making an EP about going through a panic attack. Not describing it, living it.
This is the first draft recording of “Side A,” the opening track from my concept project, “Chapter 1: Collision.”
*Edited for condensing purposes lol. I accidentally wrote 4 connected songs with an overarching story and realized I can be wordy as hell sometimes.
A work in progress
I've been working on a conceptual EP called "Chapter 1: Collision" and honestly I think it's the most vulnerable thing I've ever made.
The whole project is built like a psychological progression:
Side A — anger, bravado, survival mode
Side B — pressure, paranoia, questioning the world around me
Collision — the actual mental breakdown
Aftermath — trying to rebuild from it instead of pretending it never happened
It's not really a “story” as much as me walking people through the way my mind spirals in real time. A lot of the lyrics were written while actively dealing with panic, anxiety, isolation, anger issues, trauma, and the weird duality of being hyper analytical and being emotionally aggressive. Basically trying to overthink and not think at the same time, when those forces fight, things get messy.
I’m recording the full project this weekend.
Musically it moves from aggressive rap into cinematic orchestral sections, distorted emotional delivery, silence cuts, recurring piano motifs, dark choir sections, and a final reflective ending that’s probably the most honest thing I’ve ever written.
This project isn't me trying to look broken or edgy. It's me trying to understand myself out loud.
And honestly? If even one person hears it and feels a little less alone in their own chaos, then it already did its job.
I just want to start getting some conversation around this before it's done. It'll be released all together.
Teaser section from Collision, the main track in the EP:
"Drenched in ink
Barely holding onto the ability to think
grab a water take a drink
and remember fucking breathe."
-my delivery makes this come across even better, I promise!
*Note for mods: yes i have done this same post elsewhere but only one time in a appropriate subreddits. I'm not trying to spam.

Need an opinion
I did a stream yesterday of just gameplay on the screen, but I added this border today, should I use the border or no?
Ik it's not the pinnacle of design lol oh, and ignore the censor, it's to my blog, just trying to not self promo unrelated things on here.
Hello all, I'm trying to start up several things to help me work from home with my 5 yo son. Streaming is one of these "ventures" lol, if anyone would be so kind as to swing by my channels and chat for a while, I'd appreciate it. I'll be live playing rocket league tonight around 10 EST. No toxic gameplay, Casual 3v3, chilling and seeing if I accidentally do anything cool... or you can laugh at how bad I can be at the game lol
here's a clip from last night's stream:

P.S. Yes I know my mic quality sucks, I currently don't have one, I am on call with myself on discord between 2 accounts on my phone and PC lol
I've started a few projects including a blog, streaming, and youtube. this is a clip from last night's stream where me and 2 randoms went up against a team for a best of 3

A different direction!
Today, instead of news, I chose to add a whole new category to my blog site, I'm calling it "Off Script". In this category I'm going to be tackling a more personal side, and today I addressed the phone call I got last week from a debt collection agency about my father dying. It's a lot of emotion and not a lot of answers. Maybe you can relate to my story. If you come by to read, I hope... idk I was going to say I hope you enjoy it but it's not really that kind of topic, so if you read it, thank you!

I have looked into the reactions from the gaming community as well as Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang's response to the criticism he received about DLSS 5 implementation with AI. His response was kind of wild! Come by and discuss the future of AI in gaming, your thoughts and feelings are all a part of this journey through AI's development!
Hello,
I am starting up a new blog and I wanted to, kind of, test my idea. I just need feedback on if it seems like something that would be interesting to read and join. This project will bear this account's name, "Dad's Gaming Journal", and it will start out as a sort of 2 facet blog. One side will be op-ed style articles focusing on gaming, arts, and technology. The goal will be between 3 and 6 of these articles a week. Being that I'm trying to make money, a subscription will be needed for all but 2 free weekly articles. The subscription would be $5/week. On the other side, it will be a sort of alternate reality (?) short story series. In this, I will document my 5 year old's first experience playing older games through a perspective of us being in the story/environment. For example, the first game we will do is Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. Each game we play would be a series broken up into issues with the first issue of each game always being free and the rest behind a different $5 subscription. This would only last until the series is complete, where the subscription will end giving anyone who was subscribed access to the whole series permanently and the option for a subscription being replaced with a purchase option equaling the total of the subscription's total run, so a 4 week series at $5/week would be a $20 purchase when it's complete, unless you were subscribed for the series.
My question is, does this seem interesting and, more importantly, fair? I'm kind of coming in blind and could use some help! Much appreciated.
