Hey guys I posted here three days ago about taking in my dad’s cat after he died and I think things are getting better? I try to give her some space and I just gave her a churu tuna treat and she purred and rubbed against my foot! And it seems like she’s getting to where she’ll fall asleep with me around but her tail kinda swats around and I noticed her paws kind of twitching but as she dozes off she stops doing that is this a good sign? I feel like she only reacts when I use my hands side from last night when she purred and rubbed against my hand but I got worried she’d realize what she was doing and scratch me so I jerked away.. I do feel guilty over that and I don’t know why I’m so skittish maybe it’s because I’m a little on edge from dad’s passing too?.. I never did this with her mom.. I took each scratch she gave me while playing like a champ. But now I’m flinging and getting nervous? I don’t get it… anyway sorry for the rambling I do have a video of her doing what I described if yall wanna see it I can’t post it sadly..
