I have a new pair of Razorbacks in fudge and they are very comfortable and took no break-in whatsoever. However, I’ve noticed that when I step with my left foot, it makes a very loud clamping noise.

I don’t roll my foot from the outside to the inside when I step as much as I do with my right, and when I do, it lessens the noise.

Is there anything I can do to lessen this in terms of the boot itself? I feel like if the sole was a bit more rounded, it wouldn’t be as noticeable, so this morning I started flexing the boot in my hands.

Does this get better with break-in? I hate to take them to a cobbler to get them re-soled being brand new boots.

Hello, I am looking for some advice and information on how to proceed. We have a standby generator for our house, but I would like to add a battery back up about five hours of capacity that is tapped first. The generator has an automatic transfer switch.

Is there a way to set up a second transfer switch that would engage the generator once the battery backup was depleted? From what I’ve read, I haven’t seen a option for this. I’m assuming that this type of setup would involve a manual transfer switch somewhere in the mix.

I am planning on adding solar after the battery backup is installed. Thanks in advance.
