860 day streak - how exactly does data streak break?

Hey everyone,

I’m on a work trip right now and somehow managed to forget my WHOOP charger. I’ve got an 860 day data streak going, and I’m trying to figure out how worried I should be.

My WHOOP is currently at 10% battery, and I won’t be able to charge it until tomorrow evening. Based on how quickly the battery is dropping, it will probably die sometime tonight, either while I’m asleep or shortly after I wake up.

Does anyone know exactly what breaks the data streak?

Is it:

- 24 hours with no data?
- Missing a recovery?
- Missing a sleep?
- The device fully dying?

My hope is that if I can capture any data tomorrow before it dies completely, the streak might survive. But I’m not sure how WHOOP actually defines the cutoff.

Has anyone here had something similar happen? Did your streak survive, or did it reset?

Wish me luck. I’ll report back either way.

Hello guys,

I bought a watch for my father and it keeps having problems. I feel responsible because I talked him into it and want to fix it.

The watch had always run late and after re-regulating it, it still did.

I brought it back for regulation and this time the timegrapher showed just dots, no line.

After opening up, it came clear that the balance wheel can be tilted into directions it shouldnt. I am not a native speaker and asked chatgpt how to name that part. So here we go: According to the AI the balance staff rivet came loose or broke. This is why the balance wheel doesnt exclusively moves on the axis it should, but also tilts.

Questions now:

  1. Get a complete new watch?
  2. Get a new movement? BONUS: can I get a better / newer movement that is more stable? I got the older VR3230 in this one.
  3. Can I just get a new balance wheel?

If you need pictures, i can try to make some :)

Thanks a lot in advance for your helpful answers !!!

Hey guys,

tldr watch probably broken beyond repair, will need new calibre. Where do i get it?

I have an APSF MUT Moonphase. That would be with the Calibre 925, right?

The Rotor was always really loud. After it fell of the shelf, the golden weight came loose from the plate holding it. The one with the three screws; the gold basically parted from the inner silver part.

I sent it to a guy in Italy that sometimes helps me and he got it back together and also fixed the noise.

After it fell again from that shelf the rotor was loose again. Note: No other of my watches ever fell from there. It is always this one, lol.

I brought it to my local watchsmith here (also good one) and he was able to get it back together but this time a screw head broke off and we had to use some glue to really make the silver stick to the gold part.

It was a lost cause though because the watch will not tick anymore. Manual winding and rotor wouldn't wind the watch.

Long story: I need a new calibre 925 to exchange it. Best would be including the golden weight. Can those be optained or should I better buy a new watch?
