I bought this gemstone years ago at an auction stated to be a vintage sapphire pendant. The setting has a clip clasp that can be used on pearl or beaded necklaces and is marked 14k. Would this type of hydrogen occlusion occur in both sapphires and diamonds? Could it occur in a man-made stone? I'm always looking to learn more about gemology. All opinions and information are very much appreciated. All 3 pictures were taken at varying magnifications. I further magnified by cropping. I did find some information that the stone is likely to have been mined at the Argyle mine.
