As galloping old age takes over, more pannier space is being taken over by my medications. For years I've been able to cope with the eyedrops for Glaucoma, but more recently I've won the lottery with pills to prevent or treat various ailments, some for pain relief caused by being hit by cars a couple of times through no fault of mine in the last few years.
These pills are all seem to be sold in generously sized plastic bottles which will take up too much room in my pannier on an upcoming trip.
To overcome the waste of space, I've planned to put the required number of pills in their own separate labelled resealable Plastic bags with the appropriate naming on each. Then there's the prospect of them being turned to dust by the constant rattling, so the plan for that is to put the bags in a container with cotton wool to fill the void and hopefully provide some padding.
How do others cope with this? Am I overthinking this, or will this be enough?
