Hi everyone! I wanted to know if you could share your experience with the joycoin repair service in Europe since I sent in my right joycon for switch 1 and Nintendo asked for 25 euros. I know that in the US that's free and I wanted to know more about how it works here in Europe.

Hi everyone! I've read a few months ago on this subreddit how Nintendo offers a FREE Switch1 Joycon repair service (for joycon drift) in Noth America. I live in Europe but people told me it should be the same here too. I sent them my right joycon last week and yesterday they sent me an email asking for 25 euros to repair this one joycon. I'm out of warranty too, my switch was bought 8 years ago.
My question is: shouldn't it be free in Europe too? Am I missing something?
Maybe if some of you did that before, you can give me some tips on how to do that again. Thanks :)
