Hi all,

A friend of mine is getting into vinyl an I'm helping him choosing audio equipment. We went to a hifi store where we listened to their cheapest active speakers, the Argon audio fenris A4. On the used market I found some b&w dm602 s2's listed for 250 eur, which I think we can negotiate down to about 200. Pairing that with a cheap but sufficient used amp he would be spending the same if not less for the b&w's. Would that be the better option? He listens mainly to artists like Michael Jackson or Stevie wonder, but occasionally to modern hiphop.
