It was definitely not in English, the singer sounded like they could be either male or female, there was an accordion (or at least something that sounded like one), the chorus went like "o-o-o epi du-du-du epi da-da-da bodi popa (and then the backing vocals go like popa popa popa)" , in one part of the song there's an obviously female voice that goes like "lie" in a seductive voice before a part with the accordion hits.
