A portrait I did of my niece for an art show in Melbourne, Australia. With all the shit going on in the world, recent terrorism in Aus, the orange tyrant across the sea, the impact of media on our daily lives tormenting us with impending doom, I wanted to paint something stark and abrupt about the impact all this shit we have to deal with on the young people having to grow up within it.

Hello, I live in a rural area near Appin which is in NSW, Australia, and last night all I could hear was dogs barking and carrying on. I went outside to check what was going on and saw this in the sky. There is a military base nearby if that helps.
