I’m about to do my first sits. I’m traveling to the UK in the fall and have three lined up. They’re all confirmed. I had a video chat with all of them. We all got along well. I’m just wondering if anyone has had the experience of getting to a house after having all green flags and realizing something was off. I will have the resources to take care of myself while I’m there if one or more of the sits fall through. Not ideal of course but I’m not venturing all the way to the UK to sleep in a bus station.
As a solo female traveler, I think that that’s my biggest fear. Walking into someone’s house with no significant prior knowledge of them.
