Italy trip for a wedding
I land in Rome on September 28th and have three days to myself before heading to Asciano on October 1st. I’ll then be in Monticello from the 3rd to the 5th for a wedding.
I want to spend my first few days relaxing while exploring architecture and museums. I'm traveling solo by train and prefer peaceful, excluded, and budget-friendly spots rather than tourist crowds. I'm also considering a beach trip for one of the days. I’m not big on long vacations and I’m ok with going somewhere off the beaten path.
Any suggestions for where to base myself after landing in Rome, or recommendations for things to see once I get to Asciano?
