Unfair and storm of justice knockdown

If you boost conjugation as much as possible does it knock enemies down relatively frequently?

I've been boosting evocation all game but at mythic 4 I'm tempted to get the mythic feat that transfers all that to conjuration. However if enemies are gonna have 50 reflex late game it feels like a pointless feat since the damage is unchanged.

I don't have hexes, though I do have madness domain.

Thanks!

So I'm halfway-ish through my unfair run of Wrath and I've been using a skald merc I made in act 1.

I think most go with a reach melee skald but I made a reach melee vivisectionist, so for my skald I made an enchantment focused control caster. I've been quite frustrated with the class because outside of their song and good hope (and the occasional unbreakable heart) I find them pretty useless in combat. However I realized this is mostly because a lot of the hardest fights I've done were against undead, and enchantment is basically useless against undead.

So this made me think... for a caster "singer" is dirge bard actually better than skald overall? Giving up the rage powers is massive, -3 AB right now if I switched without even considering the other boosts and powers, but man would hilarious laughter have saved me from a lot of annoying encounters the first three chapters.

I'm playing on unfair and it honestly hasn't been that bad until this fight.

Two enemies at once with 60 AC, one or which can cast an AoE nuke that kills half my party, and you have to kill them both at the same time? Boy howdy!

So I'm wondering if this is something I can come back to down the line. I'm currently level 11 in act 3. I'm pretty sure you come back to this area in act 5 but I don't know if these assholes are still here.

Thanks!
