Ok, I think I need some external opinions about this topic. My (due to personal reasons very inactive) buddy, my Fleetcarrier and myself are currently somewhere in the middle of nowhere in the Achilles Altar region. With Operations on the Horizon (pun intended) and especially the new/old evacuation gameplay active in the CG I'm drawn back to the bubble. Problem is: This expedition is planned for a long time and we merely scratched the 3rd of 7 checkpoints. Additionally I already went back to the bubble once, missing the CG by 20 minutes or so and went back out again after I purchased a Caspian. My options seem to be a) abort everything b) returning with my Caspian and leaving the Carrier where it is or c) keep exploring as planned.
I don't know if the evacuations will finally be available or if they will vanish again. Would you return or would you stay out there and hope that evacuations will still be a thing when the expedition is over?
