A sheriff vehicle turned onto the road i was on and immediately rode my ass for 30ish seconds. They flashed their brights at me (no r/b lights just brights). I was driving 45mph in a 45mph road.
The road then goes down to 35mph on a very curvy road. I slowed down to 35mph and the cop was STILL riding my ass. Another minutes goes by and the cop turned on their red and blue lights (not sirens on top but just small little r/b lights on the front of their vehicle.
I turned my blinker on and pulls over and the cop turned his r/b lights off, passed me on a double yellow going uphill with another vehicle coming towards us (no close call crashes but worth noting not alone on the road).
My wife was about 1 minute further down the road (we were both on our way to work) and she told me she experienced the same thing; flashing brights, tailgating her car, and then speeding off after he passed.
This happened at 4am in the morning. The road the cop came out of was a dead end residential area. I believe he was off duty but not sure if i can prove that. I have a dash cam that i might be able to get his license, but i don’t know for sure.
