Compatibility help with swapping Canyon integrated cockpit to regular stem + bars
Apologies if I don't know too much about this.
I have a Canyon CF SL Disc 8.0 Aero from 2019, and it came with a CP10 integrated cockpit. I'm going on a month-long bike trip, and I have to replace the cockpit with a set of bars with a round section so I can mount a handlebar bag on it.
I'm having trouble figuring out what I need to replace and what I don't. The tube is 1 1/4", it seems, and so I purchased an available option, an FSA SMR stem, which I haven't received yet. Because my bike has some sort of aero-shaped Acros headset and then proprietary spacers to meet the non-round shape of the cockpit, I'm pretty sure the spacers won't work with the new stem. The new stem also seems to have a non-round shape.
Is there something I should be buying instead of the stem I purchased, and how can I make everything fit together?
