- The Oven’s Slice - 1st Ave
The staff (young woman) was super nice. I assumed that I would be given cold slices, so it was a nice surprise when she asked me if I wanted them hot. These slices are huge in my opinion!
- Gourmet Garage - Tribeca
The manager (middle-aged lady) told me NOT to hit the “Tap to Pick Up” until the store confirms that there is still a bag left. The pickup window was 10am to 4pm, and I got there around 3:30pm. If it gets closer to 4pm, they might actually run out of bags? My understanding was “Reserve a bag”equals to “Secure a bag”. Good to know though in case I want to try them again in future. Portion wise, I think great. Each item technically expired yesterday (4/15). Not a fan of Whole Foods’ prepared foods as they all taste bland in my opinion, so I’m excited to try these. Only the Chicken Parmesan has a price on it. I guess the salmon would be the similar price and potato is at least $6?
- MCM coffee
The staff was super duper nice. She lowkey “apologized” that I’m getting two almond danish. I absolutely do not mind it at all. Besides, she even gave me a 1/4 of another almond danish as shown in picture. You would get a cup of drip coffee with these pastries as well. I don’t drink coffee, so I politely declined. Bring your own bag as they don’t provide one.
