Looking for opinions on the MA History program

Like the title says. I am looking to apply for my masters in the next year or two, and Waterloo is definitely a top choice. Just looking to see what the experience is like, and ask a few questions.

What is funding like for course-work based students? How competitive is the program? Does anybody have an idea of the acceptance rate? What kind of student opportunities are there on campus? How do you find the professors within the department? What do you think of the Tri-University Program?

I'm open to any information to help narrow down programs.

Thanks in advance.

Just wondering how people found the admission process for transferring to Brock or coming back for a second degree.

Is it competitive? When did you hear back about being admitted? Did they help put together a plan for your required credits, and what did that look like?

Any information would be really helpful.
