Bought a wired car polisher online and received it with a broken earth pin on the plug. The seller was only offering me a tiny refund for sending it back so I’ve decided to cut the plug off to put another on. I was then greeted by this yellow and green 2 core cable I haven’t seen before. I’ve looked it up and apparently it’s double insulated and you just leave the earth pin empty. One thing I can’t find online is these green and yellow wires and which is which. I’d like to assume yellow is live leaving green as neutral but hoping someone here knows for sure before I blow myself up 😂
