I don't know if this is really a Byzantine only event, but I assume so due to the DLC icon and the picture background. I had it fired for a Greek general in my Ottomans run...
Played as Austria with the new DLC activated. Went for the Danube faction route and had Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Greece, and Turkey all in my faction before 1938.6. But in the end of 1938, Czechoslovakia still yielded Sudetenland to Germany and Munich Agreement fired. Then they broke into three pieces and got consumed by Germany as what would happen without interference.
I remember before the DLC, I should be able to refuse Germany's request and Germany would declare war on my faction. It might be a bug in the new DLC. Czechoslovakia is not supposed to fall back if in a faction right?
