I'm trying to sell my old manual wheelchair, because I have a new one. And I'm looking to use the money to purchase an electric wheelchair that my insurance refuses to pay for.

Where are the best places to sell a manual wheelchair? I've tried Facebook Marketplace, and I'm not sure if someone is personally reporting my ad or what is going on, but it keeps getting rejected. I see several other wheelchairs, walkers, rollators on there, and they don't seem to be having any issues. I have made sure that none of the keywords are listed and it was listed under chair category. So Facebook is out, unless there are groups that you are allowed to sell in.

I know that I can list it on eBay, but that obviously comes with shipping issues + added cost.

Where else can I list it, so that it doesn't break the terms of service of whatever site or app it's on? I'd like to sell it locally, so that I don't have to deal with having to package it up and ship it, and so that the person can come and try it out and see if they like it or not.

Thanks!

I am trying to troubleshoot the new sandpaper/scratching sound that's only in the left muff. It is somewhat intermittent (I will get a few seconds where it stops, before starting again). If I turn off the active noise canceling completely, then it stops entirely.

So far I have tried:

  • factory resetting the headphones
  • updating the firmware through the Bose Connect app
  • blowing out the various holes, mic, etc. on the outside

Nothing has helped so far.

The only thing I haven't tried yet, is taking apart the muff and then checking the components inside to see if anything has come loose, is rubbing against something it shouldn't be, etc.

Anyone ever had this problem before, and know how to fix it?

I'm devastated. 😭
