I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share that I’ll be having a Laparoscopic Hysterectomy on July 14th. I currently work in both education and the medical field. With school starting again on August 5th, I’ll have 22 days to recover. I also have a genetic condition, but my symptoms are well-managed. I’ve been doing pelvic floor therapy and will continue after surgery. For those who have been through a similar experience, I would love to hear your insights: when did you feel ready to return to work, how much time did you take off, and what was your experience like? Thank you so much for any advice or wisdom you can share.
