Hi,

As a person with an interest in British military history I always wonder how would Great Britain cope if a global conflict would have happened in say 1884 against other European powers?

I understand there was colonial wars but I suppose you could say most of opponents were not as well trained or equipped.

If a European war did happen, how fast could technology have progressed? How would alliances work? Who would be opposing each other? What would be a likely scenario of sparking the war? Who would the likely victors be? Any chance at all the Americans get involved?
