I have done something similar to this with my HX Stomp, but with the additional IO and DSP on the larger models, I am wondering if an easier alternative could work.

Path 1: Guitar In -> FX -> Main Outs -> Mixing Desk
Path 2: Mixing Desk Aux Mix -> Return 1 -> Send 1

Headphones Monitor Send 1.

The idea is that I would return my monitor mix from our mixing desk and then use the phones output to feed my IEMs.

If the Input to path 2 can't be Return 1, or if the Output from path 2 can't be Send 1, could I just set up the inputs/outs to be the USB because ultimately, it doesn't matter, I'm injecting the signal through the return and monitoring it before it reaches the output if that makes sense?

Maybe there is an even simpler way?
