NOTE: im honestly thinking of doing art traditionally with paper and pencil, and pen, etc lol. And then digital editing and processing and stuff. Just to say upfront.
I'm a writer and artist. I want someone to collaborate with on writing and art. Not just an editor to boss around, a partner. If you're interested and wanna try and do this with me together, see if we can make something magical, hmu. We can see if it works. I'm not paying money, sorry. But I won't beg someone who asks for pay to do it for free either. I see this as potentially mutually beneficial. My idea is to collaborate in person and get work done!
I'll supply all equipment needed by the way, if that helps! But bring your own stuff In case I may not have your preferred tools. If you want something to help with our process, I can buy it if it's a good idea for us. That's an investment for the work though, not pay.
If we publish we take profits 50/50, I swear on this. We can do legal work first if need be, but I think we should see if we work well together before we do any of that just in case it's kind of a waste of time to do the legal stuff upfront.
I'm interested in making darker more mature stories that aren't just dark and edgy for the heck of it, so don't worry about it being corny. However, my goal is also along the lines of... You could say, multiple trigger warnings would be involved in the stories I like to make. Potentially the whole list of them. I'll give you an idea of what I mean.
My list of inspirations are Inio asano, and Shuzo oshimi mainly for more slice of life/senien works.
But I really like hunter x hunter too. I kind of want to make a hybrid of a dark senien slice of life/battle comic hybrid with a very unique and complex but cool power system. We can discuss details. I'm not demanding to work with someone who's a master, but not someone who's a novice either. I'm not a master either. But doing the work is important to improve and actually get something out there. If you've been wanting to make something work, and have your own ideas for a story, I'll hear you out. We can swap pages and edit each other's stories, do reviews, etc. lmk if you're interested.
