My latest effort at merging the different eras together into a throwback-inspired but modern set.

Uses the classic Marlins script, primarily a variation of the 2003-2011 version that was mostly black. This pairs better with the current mostly black Fish.

The silver circle in the primary logo and sleeve patch evokes the original circular primary logo.

Colors are directly pulled from the 1993-2011 and current eras, with the original Marlins Blue (yes that what the style guide calls the teal), Black, Silver, and Orange. The 2019-present "Slate" color pairs well with the OG teal, and adds a some dimension to everything. The orange (only ever as a trim color, never as the primary color on anything) is me throwing a bone to the sickos who actually like the 2012 clownfish era uniforms lol.

For the uniforms, I've avoided the futile "try to make a throwback "M" logo that looks good" challenge by going the Orioles/Jays bird route and just using the Fish on the caps. Looks good, and also kinda looks like an abstract "F" by itself which is neat. Main cap is teal with a black bill, alternate is all black.

I've ignored any City Connect nonsense and did a straightforward set mimicking the late 90s/early 2000s looks. Main home has the black script, the home alt has the teal script and black sleeves, both with teal pinstripes. The road script is riffing on the original away uniforms and can be paired with either cap. Went black with silver lettering for the BP tops for merch sale purposes / an additional alternate option / 2003 WS vibes.
