Hey everyone!

On Tuesday I will have a 6 hour layover at JFK and I was looking into taking the A train down to Rockaway Beach. Originally I was wanting to take LIRR into Manhattan but realized I might not have enough time to make it worth it.

I have heard good things about Rockaway and I also saw that it is supposed to be super nice on Tuesday. Do yall think that the beach will be crowded, and it will be nice enough to get in the water? Also, are there any good pizza places in that area that you would recommend?

This is my first time to NY so I am pretty excited. Of course my plans aren't set yet so if you have any other recommendations please let me know.

Só queria saber se vocês acham que vale a pena ir para Jericoacoara. Eu vou estar em Ceará para 10 dias nesse mês e ouvi muitas coisas boas sobre Jeri. Porém, sei que é bem longe e tbm pode ser muito caro.

Então gostaria de saber se alguém já foi lá e se vale a pena ou não. Eu sou um gringo e não sei se eu vou voltar para Ceará, então por essa razão eu estou querendo ir. Mas como eu falei, eu sei que pode ser muito caro. Eu também sei que é mais para casais fazendo lua de mel, e eu estarei viajando sozinho.

E se vocês têm recomendações de coisas para fazer, mesmo em Jeri ou em Fortaleza, por favor mandem!!! Obrigadão!!

As the title says I will be flying from SEA to GRU with a 6 hour layover in JFK here in a few weeks (on Delta). I was just wondering if any of yall have suggestions on things to do/places to eat to kill some time. I kind of want to get out of the airport and do something since I have never been to NY. Obviously it might not be enough time to make it to Manhattan but I was wondering if there is anything closer.

One thing I was thinking about doing is checking out Citi Field because I am a Mets fan. Or maybe just get a slice of pizza or something. Maybe check out Coney Island.

I have heard that a lot of people recommend going to the TWA hotel rooftop pool, but considering it will be early May will it be too cold for that? Again I am totally open to anything and obviously know it is better to be safe than sorry. Love to hear any recommendations that you may have :)
