Infection
Hi. Our Golden retriever had abdominal/pelvic surgery on May 5. We have followed the instructions on medications and attempting to keep her immobile. We thought e collar meant the electric collar which we’ve been using- but obviously failing overnight when we are asleep. We decided to look at her stomach this morning (photos attached). The vet is closed today and we plan to contact them tomorrow, and bought the appropriate collar but are concerned about the appearance. It looks like staples have been torn, but also large gaps between each staple we aren’t sure were intentional. It had a collection of purulence prior to photos. Haaalllp please 😁 can I pack it with iodoform in the interim? TY
