He said that Otto was suing him, but Otto loved him and Piama! Even if he lost the ranch money to a fake ATM, I don't think Otto would sue Francis.
He'd sue the perpetrator of the scam. But Francis is so used to being on the receiving end of punishment and court that when he heard court and lawyer, he panicked thinking it was against him.
And so im so certain this is the conversation that happened.
Otto: I can NOT believe it! All that money! Angry German angry German! Francis! Francis, you must speak with my attorney before your deposition! These foul deeds cannot stand!!
Francis: Im so sorry, Otto. This should have never happened but Im going to own up to what happened!
