I lost access to my account and I've been stuck in the AI agent loop trying to get help for months
Basically what the title says. My phone got stolen and it was associated to my Coinbase account. I've been trying to update my 2FA ever since to no avail. I'm Italian but I live in Germany at the moment. For some reason my Italian passport is not accepted for my ID verification even though it should be. I've told support several times that I don't own a German ID but they keep asking for it, it's like talking to a wall.
They asked for a selfie holding a hand-written sign that shows "for Coinbase verification" and the current date while holding my passport, I sent it and it was for nothing. They asked for my residence certification status (Meldebescheinigung), I sent it and it was for nothing. I honestly don't know what else to do, I've tried all the different methods available to contact "support" but they just insist that I login to my account to get help (even though I explain the issue is I CAN'T login, same thing happens with the chatbot in the Coinbase website btw) and the german support number doesn't seem to work anymore.
ANY help would be very appreciated!
