When I applied for universal childcare for our older kid they mentioned something about calling when we had a new child to add them to our application. Turns out it just means I have to submit a bunch of extra paperwork about our parental leaves, the new child, and apparently a recertification of our jobs after our parental leaves. It kind of seems like it would have just been much easier to wait until the new kid was about to enter daycare and we were back at our jobs. Just wanted to let anyone else know who might be in a similar situation and see if anyone else had a similar experience.
