I'm writing a romance into my story but its not going to be the main plot just a side one, I'm having a bit of trouble making it subtle I feel like anything I say is an immediate stupidly obvious sign that I'm going to have a romance plot here any tips on how to hint and build up so it doesn't come out of nowhere but it isn't super obvious?

If this is relevant at all my writing is a fantasy I'm not sure its relevant but just in case.
