I was thinking about the final tour shirts and wanted to see if they had any left on their site, but there was nothing anymore. But they have the “mystery bundle” for $30 ($44 w tax & shipping) and you get two shirts in the size you choose plus a trinket.

I ordered it twice and got one package in the wrong size, but it was ALL final tour shirts.

It’s a lot of fun lol I ordered XXL twice so I first got XL of this NWA outta Compton shirt that says N.O.F.X. Straight Outta Jobs and then this NOFX Poodle shirt… but returned these for the correct size.

Next I got a natural white XXL OG NOFX skull on the front with the final tour cities and the band members playing live on the back and this shirt called “some suicidal threw me into a pole” that has the OG skull as a suicidal crying for NOFX on the back, and NOFX Los Angeles 1981-2024 on the front breast. It’s a killer shirt…

I wore it to Pennywise SF two nights ago and Jim was asking for different punk shirts as guesses for who they were about to cover. I held that shirt up from the pit and Jim is all “the gentleman in the back here has a NOFX shirt” and spotlighted me. Took a couple more shirts of other bands, but then they played Bob, I was right. 🤣

The final package had a repeat of the suicidal shirt (I’ll keep it in the bag for a few years and beat up the other one) and a HORRIFIC dayglo yellow shirt with the Wolves NOFX logo and the fallen stickman w broken arm on the front, and the track listing of Wolves on the back, but song 14 is a typo and says “Instant Classic” not Instant Crassic.
Probably designed by someone who’s living in Bakersfield or at a month-long hip hop festival, smdh.

And I got 3 packs of these enamel NOFX pins that has the NOFX logo and the band drawn in a “Peanuts/Charlie Brown” style, 4 characters plus a SWEET little NOFX logo making 5 pins.

absolutely love the pin sets, gonna gift my two bros a set each when we go see the doc on Friday in SF.

The pin set is on a card that matches the HOFX record, the band sitting with Don Ho back in 97 or whenever. The HOFX pin set, but there’s no Don Ho pin lol

Forgive me for not digging up the source material/proof, but I watched a random YouTube interview with Black Dahlia Murder guitarist Ryan Knight where he said him and Brian Eschbach (founding member, ex guitarist and current singer) attended the NOFX final tour stop in Detroit or wherever it was for them.

Ryan said they “love NOFX and all that stuff”, and noted how they were super inspired by NOFX’s banter and comedy onstage. Ryan specifically said how they wanted to try to incorporate some of that into TBDM if they could.

Well, I saw TBDM a week ago, and they had this whole interlude thing where they’d throw up yellow and blue spotlights and Brian would become this silly Midwest lounge singer guy and just banter between a few songs.

I think it was great, very funny and accurate to where they’re from, and in my mind directly inspired by NOFX. Never seen TBDM do anything like that before, just this time.

On a side note, Trevor was way into punk. Trevor introduced Laura Nichols and Ben Murray (The Heartsounds) to melodic punk when they were in Bay Area death metal band Light This City.

Apparently, according to Laura, they were on tour with Dahlia way back and Trevor played them Mute Print by A Wilhelm Scream.

This sparked Ben and Laura’s love for punk after already being deep in the metal scene, and they went on to form The Heartsounds.

Laura was the vocalist for Light This City and she has insane screams, but all her vocals for The Heartsounds are clean and melodic.

Ben Murray recently ended up as the current guitarist for AWS. Full circle.

I gleaned this from a Laura interview, and ran it by Ben after a show and he said “yes, that’s all true” about Trevor turning them on to punk.

The Heartsounds one of my all time favorites, and notably they made a “The Decline” style album called “Dualistic Nihilist”

It’s like a 20 minute shredding punk album as a single track, exactly like The Decline… a punk symphony or whatever da fuk that shit is 😂
