Underrated - VSF Spectre
I’ll admit that it took me a while to fall in love with this one, but after giving the bracelet an oil bath, repolishing the chamfer and giving it a ceramic cote (Cerakote platinum w graphene), it’s unbelievable. First pic is with ceramic coating and the second (on rubber) was taken before.
My wife hates dive watches, but she asked the other day if it was one of my real watches because it looks high end.
The quick adjust on the bracelet is perfection, and these also look incredible on the AT rubber.
My only complaint is that it’s the loosest bezel I’ve ever felt. I work on watches, but can’t find any information on removing the bezel to fix the click spring. I’ve done it for other watches, but the bezel feels like it’s going to break - there’s no upward give and I’m also worried about wrecking the bezel or damaging the insert. Any tips would be appreciated.
