Another HBCU with not a lot of brand history available online, but pretty solid & consistent classic logos

So originally, this was going to be the 4th and final part to my “Retired Logos That I Think Should Return” series. However, due to the fact that I lost all of my progress on that because of file corruption and the fact that the NBA really offered too much solidarity for most teams—something that leagues such as the NHL struggled with—most boxes would have been filled with uniforms. I tried to avoid this but it would have been more egregious than the NHL post. Instead, I’ve replaced it with this post to fill the NBA’s slot. I tried my best to find teams that shared names, and to use a little bit of variety in the types of teams that I chose. Some entries can be swapped out, some were really hard to find, and the Sixers were pretty much impossible because of how specific and (I would imagine) protected the name is. In this case, I used the team they originated as: the Syracuse Nationals. Lastly, the Celts and Knickerbockers may be gray areas because they aren’t exactly “Celtics” or “Knicks”. Not sure how to get around the Celts unless another team has “Celtics” outright AND a branding no longer used (so no Maine Celtics). The only other alternative I can think of for New York would be the Westchester Knicks and their original logo set, so you can place them in that spot if you have issue with that.
