I really dont like to talk about it, because I don't like rubbing it in the faces of the people close to me, but I haven't worked in almost three years as a mid 20s dude.. Most of my friends dont mind, and I get to be the unemployed friend that everyone jokes about.

What really elates me is when people (especially that I dont know) call me lazy or say that I dont deserve it. Especially from the "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" crowd or people that still hard work actually means a thing.

I love knowing how bitter those people get that I get to wakeup every day and have a coffee and make my art. I love that these people will all happily toil away for a boss that doesn't give a fuck about them, makes more than them, and will do everything they can to replace them. I love having complete freedom over my day, not having to wear some fuck ass uniform, and not having a boss that gets to decide the path of my life.

I dont understand what it is about people seeing me not have to waste my life doing a pointless job. I want all of the people I care about to be free from the wage cage, or to actually have work thats meaningful and supports their life. Just dont try and drag me back into it.
