Sometimes the best remedy is... Playoff hockey?!
Our 7 week old daughter will sometimes cry a bunch even after we've done the usual checks and soothing. Nothing worked... until I held her in my arms and we watched playoff hockey together. Just Dad and little princess. She was hooked. Maybe it's the high contrast white ice surface and darker people skating around, maybe it's the play-by-play announcers. Either way, we watch for 5-10 minutes, changing sides to work out the neck and she really enjoys it! Laughs even!
Then afterward, she's ready for sleep. Like, 2-3 uninterrupted sleep. Thank you, Hockey gods!
