Bambu P2S Heatbed Screws

EDIT: re-uploaded to include pics this time 😅

I just commented on another redditor’s thread about this but I wanted to include pics of the screw next to the bambu heatbed screw.

Well, worst case scenario happened to me this past weekend. I had one of the small black screws from the extruder fall under the build plate into a compartment inside the heatbed 😵‍💫 how?? I have no clue but terrible luck I have to say.. I tried to keep printing with the screw hidden inside the heatbed, but of course the P2S could tell something was in there and wouldn’t print. Unfortunately for me this meant i had to unscrew the 4 screws on the heatbed and get that sucker out. Well come to find out, the screws have loctite on them so a very hard task to complete. Well i ended up stripping one of the screws and that was a whole other problem because bambu doesn’t give or sell those particular screws. 🫠 I searched the internet high and low to find this screw but couldn’t find one. Luckily, my dad works in the fastener business so he was able to help me find a similar screw. It’s not exactly the same but it works! I just put it in and ran the manual bed leveling program before i auto calibrated the heatbed and everything is working well.

here is the link to the screw we found and used:

Also- pro tip if your screw is stuck and stripped, we used a Fanttik F2 Pro with a very tiny tip to create an indention so that we could fit a flathead screw driver in the new indentions in-order to get it out.

I hope this helps!

**Edit 2**

here is the link that walks you through how to manually level your heatbed.
