LONDON UK

Locksmith called out by concerned tenant at 23:00 on a Thursday evening because they couldn't access the flat. Why is unclear.

Central London address (ZONE2). Attending Locksmith found on Google by tenant.

I receive this invoice for nearly £3K the following morning at 02:00 so the work window is MAX 3 hours being extremely generous because I don't know how much of that was travel time to site.

All happened without my knowledge.

No mention of what the problem actually was from the locksmith to the tenant or on the invoice - and the locks that were replaced were standard Yale and euro bolt.

Would really appreciate professional opinions from smiths in the field. If overcharged, to what extent?

Thank you

23:00 Tenant locked out of property in Central London (UK)- assume locked themselves out.
Locksmith called and arrives within 30 minutes. Removes and replaces Yale lock and Euro deadbolt within the following hour.
Assuming it was as straight forward as that - what's a ballpark for callout and job of this nature?

*I'll post the invoice amount once I've got a sense of what it should have been.
