as the title says, my dog was born with a front paw deformity. her back paws are completely fine. her front left paw has 3 toes and is missing the majority of her paw pads. her front right has 4 toes, and is more normal, but she’s missing 2 of her toe beans. when she was a puppy, the vet decided to do a partial amputation of 1 toe on each paw because the nail was crossed under her paw, and we thought it would be better for mobility/pain. the vet said she’ll eventually develop calluses and she’ll know no different since it’s how she was born, but that she’ll probably just forever have a limp due to the lack of paw pads. she does limp quite a bit after playing/walking about a block. she needs to get more energy out than she’s currently physically able to, so we’re looking for anything that could help her. also, if anyone knows anyone who can do anything custom, we are in chicago! thanks in advance, and enjoy these goofy pics of her where you can see the bottom of her paws😂
