Medalist Gacha?

Hear me out, take UMAMUSUME formula, turn it into Medalist. = Profit

IT WOULD WORK SO WELL.

Gacha

You would gacha for skaters and cards/coaches with different variations and specializations follow a story arc based on your skater. Ex. Junior Inori, JPN Rep Inori. Which will have their own unique Ultimates and specializations.

Gameplay

The gameplay loop would be training, random events, skill avquisition, programming.

Random events would give you exp and an ooportunity to acquire a skill that would enhance your performance during skating, while programming would be assigning active skills on certain parts of the performance.

Programming/skills

This is where you decide your strategy (Start/Middle/End/Balanced) will have skills that can be learned through events or exp which can be assigned an activation queue in a simple progra timeline (Start/Middle/End) with a special climax slider to denote where the build and drop begins.

Skills can either be passive or active, working as the name suggests. More importantly, skills will either affect your Grade of execution, Technichal score, or artistry respectively.

Ex. You have a End-Inori planning to throw a Quad at the end of the peogram, you would need to build passive skills like perfect gliding, recovery, stable core, while having Active skills such as Flowing steps (which could reduce stamina loss and increas GOE on turns/step sequences) and have an ultimate skill for the ending Salchow. You could also acquire Character specific skills like "Clutch Euler" which converts a failing jump into a euler when once per program or special upgraded skills like "broken leg" conversion skill on sit spins for extra GOE!

Skating

All the skaters will perform simultaneously in the background, with a mashup footage such as highlights including skill attempts, climaxes, fails, leaderboards, and ultimate skills which bring up a short cinematic. Finally it ends in a pose.

Why this works?

Its the same as the winning Umamusume formula and it fits VERY well. Like...EERILY well. Lmk ur thoughts.
