Hey everyone! I’m posting here because I cant seem to find any info about this online.
I’ve been trying to connect my ES1 to my app, but was having a lot of issues like most IoT devices. So I started following the troubleshooting steps linked from the app and got to the point where it said to try factory resetting the machine. So I did that, but now I’m the setup, the scroll wheel isn’t working. It clicks, just doesn’t move the selection. So now I can’t even re-setup the device.
It was scrolling normally before the reset, so I don’t expect it’s a hardware issue. I’d appreciate any help or suggestions!
EDIT: while waiting for support or comments, I’ve got Gemini helping me troubleshoot 😂. While the machine is stuck on the water test (because it requires scrolling) I was able to get it connected to the app! So the reset fixed one issue but caused a worse one
SOLVED! Not sure if it was a fluke as this wasn’t the first time I tried this solution. Unplugged the machine for at least 5 minutes, pushed and held the wheel while plugging back in. I kept holding the wheel until the logo appeared, but I also clicked a few of the piano buttons in the meantime 🤷🏻♂️
