Hi! I recently discovered cyberdecks whilst forum diving and found the appeal in the idea.

I recently broke my headphones and whilst they no longer work as headphones the speakers are still perfectly functional and knowing i had some other odd bits of tech lying around ive decided to look into making my own frankenstein.

I would love some pointers and suggestions for what i would need to research and parts i would need. I have attached a photo of the current pieces of odd bits ive gathered just this evening.

In the picture is:

a few 3.5" HDDs

A Radeon HD 6870 GPU

An unused AMD Ryzen 3rd gen CPU cooler

An unused Sabrent M.2 SSD heatsink

Unused 92mm be quiet case fan

And samsung WH series bluetooth headphones (all internals functioning inc. Bluetooth, speakers and battery, just destroyed casings)

A Samsung s22 ultra with a shattered screen but internals are still functional

Theres also an old nexus tabley i havent used in years that is still fucntioning just sluggish.

I potentially have an old Ipad and Laptop that could have some parts repurposed too but i would just like some guidance and suggestions on where to start!

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any help and advice!
