Hey everyone! Let me start off by saying what my question is not about: I'm not asking about credits for a produced Pilot or an optioned one or anything like that.

I'm asking because I want to apply to one of the writing programs. The situation is that I co-created a tv show concept with 2 other friends like 6 years ago, which included the bare bones of the outline and character concepts. One of those two friends moved on from writing and doesn't care what is done to the project.

Last year, I decided to come back to this idea and wrote the 30-Min Pilot on my own - a lot changed from the original outline, a lot was added because our outline was very basic, characters, storylines were deepened - but the premise stayed the same. I reached out to the other writer, and she is interested in rewriting it with me, but has no initiative unless I say something first.

Obviously I want to honor that she's also a part of it too, I just can't be on her timeline. I've been very dedicated to the craft for the last year (currently on draft 4 of my 6th Pilot). The fellowship in question says that if a project is CO-WRITTEN, the duo must apply to it together. But she hasn't written a single word in that script. She's a CO-CREATOR. I didn't find anything on that in the program FQA.

I want to apply to this solo. Does that mean I can't use this specific Pilot as a sample? The program I have in mind is the Disney one.
