OK, I don’t believe there is any extant lore on this subject, but I’m interested to see what people think about a thought that has occurred to me.

Is there any difference between the seven dwarven rings and the nine human ones ? I’m thinking that maybe there isn’t and we only see different effects because they are held by different races.

As far as I know when they were created they weren’t intended for the races they ended up with, so there might not actually be any difference between them, they might just as well have been split up six and ten.
