Hi, I just wanted to add my experience to this topic. I bought y car a few weeks ago and the range I get from it is extremely close to the wltp one. Yes it is incredible.
I love smashing my feet down sometimes just for the fun. I always on the speed limit though.
My few trips experience on motorways are around 70 miles mixed with a bit of small roads.
I get 17kWh to the 60 miles mixed.
On motorways I am mainly 70 on my gps which is 73/74 on my central screen. Not too much traffic.
Another trip experience is on small trips around 10 miles in town. I get between 16 and 18 kWh.
So far my total estimate for my battery range is around 222 miles mixed in real life.
The charging time is quick if you are above 130 kWh charging station. It always takes the max output it can so perfect job here too.
I checked all other car with the same length and none deliver this real life range.
You can have longer range if you choose bigger battery pack from other cars but you will have a far longer car to park… nowadays in the UK a car long car is a nightmare to park as they are very large too.
So in its category the ex30 is the pinnacle.
Just wanted to share my real life experience.
I have no o e I know working at volvo. I do not work for them and never did and my second household car is a Renault Captur hybrid 2026 I loved.
