Decided to take on a new challenge: learning conversational Bisaya so I can actually talk with my in-laws instead of just smiling and nodding 😅
Started on Duolingo (yes, I know it’s not perfect, but it’s a start), and wow… my brain is working overtime. Pronunciation? Tough. Sentence structure? Even tougher. But being able to connect with family in their own language? 100% worth it.
Goal: hold a real conversation without panicking or switching to English 😂
If you speak Bisaya, feel free to drop some beginner-friendly phrases or tips—I need all the help I can get!
