Hi all. Newbie to antique glass and was wondering if anyone had information on this piece?

I've always liked the look of swung vases and couldn't resist the shape and color of this one, though not exactly that style, while thrifting today.

It's 17 inches tall with a 4 inch wide base.

Thanks in advance for any information.

When I started this process I had tried just about everything. I had an unsuccessful attempt at a sleeve in 2015 due to scar tissue from a previous surgery.

Several consultations with different other surgeons later, I landed at Mayo Clinic due the uniqueness of my situation. The surgeon explained that the sleeve had its limitations depending on the person and how they used it as a given tool, gave me approximations and asked what my goal was.

At the time I was around 490 lbs/222 kg and said that I would be happy if I could get to about 350 lbs/159 kg, maintain, and then get the excess skin and belly hang removed.

I'm very happy to say that at just four months post-op I'm now down to 343 lbs/155 kg! All that said, I know it's still early stages in my progress and can't wait to see what happens next.
